Organizers for Your Laundry Room
If you’re lucky enough to have a whole room to use as a laundry room, or even part of a room, you’ll surely want it to be well-organized. It will make your room a really useful area and you’ll be able to pack a lot into what might be a small space with laundry room organizers.
There are quite a variety of laundry accessories available today that you can use to help get your room organized. You can organize the laundry room with wall kits, shelves, baskets, hampers, cabinets, and more.
Installing Cabinets for Storage:
If for some reason your laundry room doesn't have cabinets installed; invest in at least a couple of cabinets that can be installed over the washer and dryer area. If your washer and dryer face a window and you have wall space to one side or both. Hang your cabinets there. You might also want to install a hanging cabinet on one side and a floor to ceiling cabinet on the other.
These cabinets can hold everything from detergent, stain remover and fabric softener, other cleaning products and cleaning rags, to stacks of clean clothing. This saves space and keeps cleaning products close to where they are used. This hides a lot of possible clutter keeping it organized.
Wall Laundry Room Organizer Kit:
These are great for organization. The Evertidy All-in-One Box Smart Organizer System for Laundry Room holds cleaners and has hangers and shelves for clothes that need to be hung as soon as they are out of the dryer. These also have hooks for hanging scissors, spare keys, and a shelf for an iron and fabric sprays.
Installing Shelves:
Under or in between those nicely hung cabinets, you can hang a shelf that fits over front loading appliances. The shelf can be used for pretreating laundry, baskets for each family members clean socks and underwear (this is a great idea if you're limited on drawer space), or folded laundry that needs to be put away. You could also hang a shelf above a wall organizer kit if it doesn't work about the washer and dryer.
Rolling Storage:
Some homes; such as apartments, might have the laundry room sharing space with the bathroom. If this is the case a rolling storage cart may be the way to go. These can hold laundry detergent, fabric softeners, stain removers, some will have a place to hang clothing, and you can store bathroom items and clear off the valuable counter space.
A rolling hamper with separations for whites and colored laundry allows you to have one versus two hampers. Many of these rolling hampers also have flat lids to keep folded laundry.
These are just some of the laundry room organizers you can try. What works for you all depends on the size and space of your room.
