This acronym stands for Thermo Accelerated Nano Crystal Sanitation. With this system, ordinary tape water is converted into a dry disinfecting steam. How does this work? Water from the system’s reservoir enters the TANCS processor.
In the processor, naturally occurring minerals found in the water are converted into disinfecting NANO crystals. The water enters a boiling chamber and is heated to 325 degrees Fahrenheit until it turns into a low–moisture steam. The NANO crystals are energized and accelerated as the steam travels through the hose attachment. The crystals go to work destroying germs and bacteria, and removing dirt and allergens, once the steam hits a surface. Since the steam has low moisture properties, surfaces are dry within seconds, and no mess or water is left behind.
NO-Wait Continuous Fill System:
The Ladybug Tekno has a dual tank system. One tank is a non-pressurized, non-heated water reservoir that allows water to be added at any time, while the self-monitoring boiler maintains steam. You don't have to worry about removing a safety cap, adding water to a hot tank, or overfilling the boiler. This means you don’t have to wait for the unit to cool down before adding more water, resulting in your cleaning jobs being accomplished quicker.
The Tekno 2300 comes with a large number of attachments and accessories to assist with all your cleaning needs. They include the below:
- Training DVD
- Carry case
- Sponge filler pads

Ladybug Tekno 2350 Recommendations:
In summary, if you are looking for a cleaner that disinfects and cleans, the Ladybug Tekno 2300 is probably for you. It is expensive, but it does come with a good warranty. It cleans and disinfects many surfaces, both indoors and out, and kills allergens, dust mites, bedbugs, bacteria, fleas, mold, and mildew. The unit itself is an investment, but you will save money but not having to buy expensive chemical cleaners or other steam cleaning equipment. The manufacturer does caution that the Ladybug 2350 is not safe for surfaces that are extremely heat sensitive such as fabrics such as silk and velour, and some very thin plastic surfaces.
One consumer wrote that she was a bit disappointed in the Ladybug. She found that scrubbing was still needed for caked on grime. She did find the Ladybug very good for maintaining cleanliness, and liked the fact that she was cleaning with water (steam) only, and not using harsh chemical cleaners. The steam cleaner seemed to work very well on fabric furniture. Her only caution was not to clean to long in one spot or the fabric could be damaged. She also cautioned that the steam was very hot.
